Above average Blood Pressure is explained in an adult as the bloodpressure higher or equable to 140 mm Hg systolic pressure, or greater than or equable to 90 mm Hg diastolic pressure. But, a blood pressure reading above 140/90 shows hypertension and is treated strange at any age.
